This museum is a treasure trove taken from theatrical life, with
costumes, props, photographs and other theatre memorabilia from the
19th and 20th centuries. It was founded by Yiannis Sideris, historian
of the modern Greek Theatre, in 1938. The Library includes volumes
from the Greek and international theatre as well as theatre journals
and filmographies. The archives hold manuscripts, theatrical programs,
videotaped and radio taped performances and posters of theatre
